Budget proof look with P2, Catrice, Essence, Nivea, Alverde & e.l.f.

This look features the products from my German drugstore haul and more budget proof cosmetics. I'll share my thoughts on them, so read on for more information and see pictures of the full look.

First world problem: lashes! Because the Glamour Doll mascara by Catrice is hardly visible on my lashes, I decided to put on some falsies. Putting them on was a bit challenging because I'm not used wearing them. I'm not so sure about the Essence lash glue, but the lash applicator by Catrice was actually quite helpful. The lashes are from the natural lash kit by e.l.f. By the way: What's up with that funky pair of short lashes in the inner corner of my eye?

I put on the Catrice prime&fine eyeshadow base on my entire lid. It works fine, although it's not the strongest eyeshadow base ever. I really like the shimmery silver grey eye shadow from P2 I used here. I recently got a new eyeliner pen; the Lash Boost Lash Growth Eyeliner Pen by Catrice. It's really black and easy to use. It only has the tendency to stain a bit on my upper eye lid by the end of the day. Maybe I'd better set it with some black eye shadow next time. On the lower lash line I wear the black P2 impressive gel kajal that I smudged out with some of the silver eye shadow. In the inner corner of my eye I used the Made To Stay Inside Eye highlighter pen from Catrice. This highlighter pen gives just that pinch of that so needed (by me!) radiance in the inner corner.
I filled in my brows with Essence Make me Brow eyebrow gel mascara. It looks like some glitter from my eye shadow transferred into my brows making them shimmery in the sun light. Well, glitter galore, lol.

On my face I used the Nivea BB cream without any moisturizer underneath it (except for a spritz of charged water by MAC). This BB cream is a good moisturizer on its own. I have the lightest version but it's still a little too dark for me though. Isn't there always something off with BB creams/foundations? Too light, too dark or too orange? Well, at least this one gives me sort of a healthy looking bronzed face especially in combination with the highlighter&bronzer duo by Alverde. I used the matt highlight powder as an all-over face powder and the bronzer side I used as regular. Under my eyes and to cover any spots I used the velvet finish concealer by Catrice in the shade 'Velvet Ivory'. By the way, it was close to sunset while taking these pictures so that warm lighting makes my hair looks more yellow than you've ever seen it before.

I first outlined my lips with the P2 perfect color lipliner in 'First Lady' and the I filled them in with the P2 Soft Nude lipstick in 'Soft Caramel'. This is a really nice everyday combo and both products are great.

To complete the look I used Catrice illuminating blush in the color 'I am nuts about you'. It's quite natural and not really showing up, because I swept it on very lightly.

All used make up for this look, except for the natural lash kit by e.l.f.

Ps.
